Today: Michael Jennings did what any good neighbor would do: He helped out when the family across the street left for vacation. When he saw their flowers wilting, he went over and watered them. He wasn’t expecting recognition or payment. He certainly wasn’t expecting to be arrested and charged with a crime. Yet that’s exactly what happened. It’s disturbing on the face of it. It’s also a serious challenge to the Body of Christ, not least because Michael Jennings is a Pastor. How did the community respond? What lessons did they learn? If such a thing should ever happen to us, how do we prepare for something so unjust, unwarranted and unacceptable? Bram and Sandi dig deep on this one…
