Ghana is perhaps the most stable of West African countries. The “Gift of Sight” project was initiated by Compassion Radio to fund eye surgeries that cure correctible blindness (most of it caused by impure water sources) through clinics established by International Aid. These clinics are located in the capital city of Accra, Cape Coast and 3 other cities. The good news is shared with each patient, and doctors and nurses cover them with prayer. Over 5000 sight restoring surgeries have been provided by Compassion Radio partners.
