Today: It started as a romantic getaway for a young couple. It almost ended there. Swept up in one of the bloodiest mass shooting tragedies of our time, Ashley Hoff grabbed her husband’s hand and ran for her life. But running wasn’t so easy. Her cowboy boots slid in the slick of dropped drinks and blood spilled. So she kicked off her kicks and made her way back to California barefoot, with a broken arm, and in shock.
