COLOMBIA:
Norm and Cher have taken relief aid and spiritual encouragement to the displaced Indian tribes forced to live in squatter camps on the sand dunes of the ocean. There they met with Christians who worshipped in a lean-to on the sand. They shared communion with them using a small piece of bread and a tiny cup of juice. The Nelsons also worked with peace and justice advocates in Bogota, and with Christians who work in the favelas with the poorest of the poor and needy.
