The war in Ukraine has ground on for 257 days, now. Ukrainian continues to make progress on reclaiming their territory. Russia continues to punish Ukraine for resisting. However long it lasts, it means ever increasing misery for the people of Ukraine and, for that matter, hundreds of thousands of Russian families forced to sacrifice their own sons on Putin’s altar. How is the Church responding? Well, Oksana Gorbunova and Fred Heumann have that story. They’re at the heart of our ServeUkraine project and recently arrived in the U.S. to share what they’ve seen with their own eyes. More importantly, to share how they’re making a difference in the lives of thousands of refugees.
