On a shocking day in 2018, the community of Boise Idaho was rocked to their core after a horrific knife attack by a homeless man. It was the birthday party of a little 3-year-old migrant girl. Upon hearing the news, Pastor Glenn Compton of First Baptist Church in Boise sprang into action. By mobilizing his team, he was able to minister to the local migrant community, and the community at large, by meeting both their practical and spiritual needs. This story about how the people of Boise rallied around the victims of this senseless attack, offers a powerful example of what it means to truly love your neighbor.
